Auckland Chrysanthemum & Dahlia Society

We are Auckland’s home of dahlia and chrysanthemum lovers (since 1933). You could be growing these beautiful flowers for fun or to exhibit, either way we are the community for you. Feel free to attend a meeting to see what we are all about!

At our monthly members meetings we:

• Have tutorials from seasoned members, teaching us the techniques and tips for each stage of the growing season
• Make new friends who share similar interests
• Get access to discounted dahlia tubers at the October and November meetings
• Get access to chrysanthemum plants at the October, November and December meetings
• Hold mini-flower competitions (bring your blooms!)
• Have raffles to win (bring your coins!)
• and, last but not least, have fun!!

Yearly, we have our:

• Annual dahlia show (February)

It is invaluable learning from and becoming a part of this community. As a member you will receive the benefits mentioned above.

To become a member, fill in this form, attend one of our monthly meetings, or an annual show/display. Membership is $10 per season for one person or $15 per season for a couple (partners, siblings, parent/child).

Upcoming dates

We meet at 1:30 pm on the first Saturday of each month at the Western Springs Community Garden Hall. Plenty of free parking! Walk around the front of the building to find us.
